We treat our animals with the utmost respect and care, using humane animal welfare practices. Our pigs are never introduced to artificial hormones or growth promotants. Our animals never see a feed lot. Ever. Our pork comes directly from our pasture to your table.

Half Pig - Deposit Only

$200.00

To secure your half pig share, a $200 deposit is required.
$7.48/lb by the hanging weight, minus the initial deposit. The price per pound includes the processing fee only.
This price does not reflect the following additional charges by the processor: curing, sausage links & seasonings.

Smoking & Curing - $1.50/lb
Sausage Links - $1.99/lb
Sausage Seasonings (Breakfast, Italian, Chorizo, German, Brat) - $.50/per additional lb

(i.e., Average hanging weight of a half pig is 100 lbs x $7.48/lb = $748 for your processed pork and processing fee without additional add-ons above)
Hanging Weight is the weight of the butchered animal as it hangs in the locker to dry age. This weight does not include the head, hooves, hide, blood and innards.

Packaged Weight is the net weight of the meat you will receive that is packaged and ready for your freezer. You will be charged by the hanging weight. The packaged weight is 60% of the hanging weight.

Finished Weight is exactly what is says - finished and packaged.

Example on half pork - Hanging weight is approx. 100 lbs. The packaged meat will be approximately 60% of the 100 lbs. which would give you 60 lbs of packaged meat.

Example of whole pork - Hanging weight is approx. 200 lbs. The package meat will be approximately 60% of the 200 lbs. which would give you 120 lbs of packaged meat.
