Our Highland Cattle are an extension of our family and are vital to the continued success of Mountain View Farmstead. They enjoy grazing on the pastures on our property, located in the front range. We treat our animals with the utmost respect and care, using humane animal welfare practices. Our livestock are never introduced to artificial hormones, growth promotants or antibiotics. Our animals never see a feed lot. Ever. Our beef comes directly from our pasture to your table.

Half Beef - Deposit Only
To secure your half beef share, a $500 deposit is required.
$11.99/lb by the finished weight, minus the initial deposit. The price per pound includes the harvest fee, but not the full processing fee.
Average finished weight of a half beef is... 240 lbs x $11.99/lb = ~$2,877 for your finished beef and includes the slaughter fee, however The processing fee is not included in this price and will be paid directly to our processor.
